Amanda Chidester is a very driven, passionate and genuine person. She loves being outside, traveling, and learning new things to challenge her to be better.

She has an amazing wife, Anissa Urtez, and loves spending time with her and their dog, Hank. Amanda is one of five children. She has four brothers, two older and two younger. Her parents have been huge supporters in her life and are the type of people who would do anything for their kids.

Amanda was a 3-sport athlete growing up; basketball, volleyball and softball. If you would have asked her in middle school, she was going to be playing basketball in college and going to play in the WNBA one day. In high school, her dreams changed slightly – she kept her passion for basketball, but her love for softball grew more. Her dream school growing up was the University of Michigan.

Amanda is a dreamer and goal-setter. She is not one to settle for anything less than her best and she always wanted to be the best. She started to set goals at a young age and work to achieve them. She has been a part of many championships in her career. In the softball world, everyone calls Amanda "Chiddy" like the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

When Amanda is not playing softball, she loves to spend time with her family, hike, bike, paddle board, explore national parks, and enjoy life to its fullest.
